Why We Love This Product
Make neat, evenly spaced holes for saddle stitching with these steel, diamond-point chisels. Choose 3mm or 4mm spacing in individual tools or sets, or a 5mm complete set.
Choose your spacing and teeth
- Individual tools are available in 3mm or 4mm spacing, with 1, 2, 4 or 6 teeth.
- Complete sets include 1-, 2-, 4- and 6-tooth chisels and are available in 3mm, 4mm or 5mm spacing.
Choosing a tooth count
- 1 tooth for corners, turns and correcting a single hole.
- 2 teeth for curves and tighter changes of direction.
- 4 or 6 teeth for longer straight runs.
How to use
Mark a guide line and hold the chisel vertically over a suitable punching board. Strike it with a non-metal mallet. To keep the spacing consistent, overlap the final tooth with the previous hole.
