About Found in Britain

Found in Britain is the next chapter of Cornwall Collective. We started as a home for independent makers rooted in Cornwall, and we're growing into a curated shop for independent makers and small businesses across the UK. The name has changed to reflect that wider ambition. The way we choose what we sell, and the way we look after customers, has not.

What we choose

We hand-pick every product in the shop: original, well-considered goods from independent makers and small businesses, not mass-produced stock. Some of our makers have been with us since the earliest days in Cornwall; others are newer additions as the collection grows. We're not a finished national catalogue yet. We're building one, deliberately, maker by maker, and we'd rather add makers carefully than rush ahead of what we can properly support.

How shopping works

Found in Britain is the retailer you buy from. There is one checkout and one customer support team, whatever is in your basket. Makers fulfil their own products directly, so if your order includes items from more than one maker, it may arrive in separate deliveries. A gradual rollout

We're introducing new makers, and in time new places, as each is ready to meet our standards for product information and fulfilment. If a maker or product isn't listed yet, it's because we haven't reached it, not because it doesn't belong.
