Why We Love This Product
A small, ornate book given a new life as a one-of-a-kind carving. The original book, Hoppus’s Measurer for Timber, Stone and Iron, has been cleaned, and its minor damage highlighted in acrylic gold gilding, bringing out the beauty in its imperfections.
Inside are children’s illustrations that inspired the name Little and Smol. “Smol” is a family word, remembered from the maker’s children when they were younger.
- Measures 18.5 × 7.5 × 2 cm
- Made from an altered book; the original has minor damage highlighted with acrylic gold gilding
Before buying: This is display art, not a toy, and is not suitable for children to play with. Original reclaimed materials may not have a fully known composition. Please enquire before purchase if you have a material allergy.
