Why We Love This Product
Make a hand-stitched brooch celebrating the joy of knitting with this felt craft kit from Hawthorn Handmade. Templates, colour diagrams and clear illustrated instructions help you cut and arrange the pieces, then learn over five embroidery stitches, including French knots.
The kit contains 10cm square sheets of 30% wool and 70% viscose felt, DMC stranded cotton thread, an embroidery needle, stainless steel pins, a brooch back, reusable paper templates, an illustrated felt-craft booklet, a detailed stitch and colour guide, and a gift box. You’ll also need a pair of sharp scissors.
Follow the guide to make the brooch, or use the templates and stitches to create your own layout. The finished brooch measures 8cm in diameter; the box measures 11cm x 11cm x 3.5cm. The kit comes in a fully recyclable cardboard box and contains no plastic.
The kit contains a sharp needle and we recommend adult supervision.
