This hand-stitched table linen feels different from anything store-bought—the slightly raised areas where the wooden blocks pressed the pattern give it this amazing texture your fingers can't help exploring while setting the table. It's got a perfect weight that doesn't slide around but still drapes naturally. The stitched edges have this satisfying solidity when you run your thumb along them. I love how it's slightly uneven in places—you can almost feel where the artisan pressed harder or softer with the blocks.
My friend uses this one daily and, somehow the colours still pop after all these years, getting even softer to touch with each wash. It's pretty incredible to think people have been making these the exact same way for hundreds of years.
