Why We Love This Product
Turn playtime into a magical learning moment with Fairytale Chick Pea Mix. This 250g–450g mix of chickpeas arrives in a spectrum of colors, each coated with UKCA-tested metallic paints. The result? A shimmering, tactile material that invites kids to explore, sort, count, and tell stories as they play.
What makes this mix special
- Colorful, tactile learning: a bright range of metallic hues that spark visual engagement and invite hands-on exploration. The smooth, round shapes are perfect for scooping, pouring, rolling, and sorting.
- Supports early math and fine motor skills: practice color matching, simple counting, and patterning as children group by shade, create color sequences, or build tiny fairy worlds.
- Story-driven play: pair with mermaid or fairy busy bags to fuel imaginative narratives, role-play, and language development.
- Durable, reusable play material: designed for repeated sessions across learning centers or at-home play; easy to wipe down and store for next time.
- Safety and care: paints are UKCA tested for color fastness; the chickpeas themselves are not tested. This product is intended as a learning aid and should be used under parental supervision. Not recommended for children under three years old to consume.
Smart ways to use the Fairytale Chick Pea Mix
- Sensory bins: create a magical scene by pairing with tiny figurines, shells, or beads for tactile fairy-tale play.
- Color sorting and sequencing: invite kids to sort by color family, then build patterns and stories around the orders.
- Counting and estimation: estimate how many chickpeas fit in a cup, then count aloud together to reinforce number sense.
- Creative art: use the chickpeas as stampers by pressing into clay or paint for shimmering textures (adult supervision recommended when paints are present).
Safety and care
Important: while the dyes are UKCA tested, the chickpeas are not intended for eating. Use with adult supervision, especially for younger children or sensitive learners. After play, rinse and store to reuse in future activities.
