Dunadd boar
This pendant is based on the faint stone carving of a boar from Dunadd, the capital of the ancient Scottish kingdom of Dalriada. The boar was an important animal to the ancient cultures of Scotland, and while this carving appears on the inauguration stone used to crown the kings of Dalriada, it may have been carved there by Picts who conquered Dalriada in 736
Designed and cast in lead free pewter by us in Scotland.
The pendant measuers 37mm long and 49mm wide and weighs 14g.
