Why We Love This Product
A beginner-friendly embroidery kit with a celestial deer design, a 4-inch hoop and illustrated instructions for 20 different stitches. No previous craft experience is needed, and a beginner can expect the project to take around 3–5 hours.
The kit is designed and made in rural Dorset by Hawthorn Handmade. It includes:
- Pre-printed 100% cotton fabric
- DMC stranded cotton thread
- 4-inch wooden embroidery hoop, 10.2cm in diameter
- Embroidery needle
- Illustrated Guide to Embroidery booklet
- Detailed stitch and colour guide
The instructions cover preparing the fabric in the hoop, using stranded cotton thread and a variety of stitches. You will also need embroidery scissors or thread snips. The finished hoop can be wrapped as a handmade gift.
The gift box measures 11 × 11 × 3.5cm. The kit comes in a fully recyclable cardboard box and contains no plastic. Suitable for ages 14+; sharp needles are included.
