THE PRODUCERS

Aire Street is a seasonal sweet filter blend, crafted for those who enjoy a lighter, sweeter cup, bringing together two carefully selected 100% Arabica coffees from Brazil and Ethiopia; chosen to create a bright and expressive coffee with depth, sweetness and complexity. The Brazilian component, produced by Andrea Ribeiro in the Cerrado Mineiro region, provides sweetness, body and balance, while the Ethiopian coffee from the Guji and Sidamo regions contributes vibrant fruit character, floral complexity and a lively finish. Together they create an aromatic, layered coffee that showcases the unique qualities of both origins.

Andrea Ribeiro is part of Café Delas, a sourcing initiative that promotes greater equality of opportunity for women coffee producers within the specialty coffee industry. Created in response to the barriers women have historically faced in accessing the same commercial opportunities, technical support and market visibility as their male counterparts, Café Delas works to help ensure women-led farms are recognised and rewarded on the quality of their coffee.

Every coffee we source is selected on quality first. By building long-term relationships with exceptional producers and sourcing through programmes such as Café Delas, we're able to roast coffees that deliver outstanding quality while supporting a more equitable and transparent specialty coffee industry.

The name 'Aire Street' pays homage to the heart of our first roastery in Castleford on Aire Street, an area with particular historical significance from the Brigantes, Romans, through the Danelaw and into the War of the Roses. RECENT are proud to maintain our link to this area in our own, small way.

THE COFFEE

This blend delivers bright, sweet citrus notes, smooth caramel, and a hint of milk chocolate with subtle red berry undertones. Designed for clarity and balance, it is ideal as a filter or French press coffee, providing a clean and approachable cup for lighter, everyday drinking.

THE REGION

Coffees in this blend are sourced from select regions in Africa and South America. The focus is on complementary flavor profiles, balance, and versatility rather than origin specificity, ensuring a consistent and satisfying cup even when beans are rotated with similar profiles.

THE PROCESS

The beans undergo washed or natural processing to enhance sweetness, body, and clarity. Light-medium roasting brings forward the citrus and caramel notes while maintaining the subtle fruit complexity that defines this blend.

IN THE CUP

A clean, balanced, and satisfying coffee with sweet citrus, caramel, milk chocolate, and subtle red berries. Smooth and approachable, it shines in filter or French press brewing and is perfect for a lighter daily cup
