Why We Love This Product
Make a hand-stitched tabby cat brooch while learning felt appliqué and embroidery. This beginner-friendly kit includes templates, colour guides and step-by-step instructions, with over five embroidery stitches to try, including French knots.
Inside you’ll find 10cm square sheets of wool-mix felt in assorted colours, DMC embroidery thread, an embroidery needle, pins, a brooch back, reusable templates, stitching and colour guides, and an ‘Introduction to Felt Craft’ booklet. You’ll also need a pair of sharp scissors.
Follow the guides to cut and arrange the felt, then stitch your cat and add the brooch back. Or use the templates to make your own layout and try other stitches. Leave off the brooch back if you’d like to use your finished piece as a patch, fridge magnet, hair decoration or keyring.
