Why We Love This Product
Reuben Powell specializes in tin-plate steel paintings that blend drawing with industrial and maritime themes. His works rarely include figures, emphasizing their absence as a significant element. This contrast with his figurative pieces adds depth to his artistic identity. Reuben's extensive experience with tin-plate allows him to create layers by scribing and burning, repeatedly refining the painting until it reaches resolution. While reinventing painting is a challenge, Reuben Powell's work makes a meaningful effort to do so.
