Why We Love This Product
Make a hand-stitched felt flower brooch with this beginner-friendly kit from Hawthorn Handmade. Templates, colour diagrams and illustrated instructions guide you through cutting the felt and learning more than five embroidery stitches, including French knots.
The kit contains 10cm square sheets of 30% wool/70% viscose felt, DMC stranded cotton thread, an embroidery needle, stainless steel pins, a brooch back, reusable paper templates, an illustrated ‘Guide to Felt Craft’ instruction booklet and a detailed stitch and colour guide. You’ll also need a pair of sharp scissors.
Follow the design or arrange the pieces and stitches your own way. The finished brooch measures 8cm in diameter; you can also leave off the brooch back and use your stitched design as a patch, fridge magnet or keyring.
