Why We Love This Product
A compact everyday bag with the character of a classic satchel, this 9-inch midi is handmade in Zatchels’ Leicester workshop from leather. Red and white signature stripes, matching stitching and a leather tassel give the British Edit its distinctive finish.
Concealed magnetic fastenings make it easy to open, while nickel silver buckles add a traditional detail. The adjustable, detachable strap lets you wear it over the shoulder or cross-body, or carry it as a clutch.
- External dimensions: 22.86cm wide, 16cm high and 6.5cm deep. Measurements are approximate and may vary slightly; height does not include the handle.
- Internal dimensions: 19.5cm wide, 13.5cm high and 5cm deep. Internal front pocket: 16 × 10 × 2cm.
- Adjustable strap: 115–135cm.
- Example contents include a small coin purse, gum, lipstick, glasses, bank card, keys and a smartphone. Check the internal dimensions against your phone.
To care for the leather, use leather conditioner occasionally, avoid prolonged moisture and store the bag in a dust bag when not in use. Leather waterproofing spray can help protect it from rain.
