Why We Love This Product
Make a hand-stitched hare brooch with this beginner-friendly felt craft kit from Hawthorn Handmade. Templates, colour diagrams and illustrated instructions guide you through cutting the felt and learning more than five embroidery stitches, including French knots.
The kit contains 10cm square sheets of 30% wool and 70% viscose felt, DMC stranded cotton thread, an embroidery needle, stainless steel pins, a brooch back, reusable paper templates, an illustrated instruction booklet and a detailed stitch and colour guide. You’ll also need sharp scissors.
Follow the guide to make the brooch, or use the templates to create your own layout and stitches. You can also leave off the brooch back and turn your finished piece into a patch, fridge magnet or keyring.
