Why We Love This Product
A generous, deep-walled olive wood mortar paired with a mushroom-top pestle makes light work of crushing garlic, spices and herbs. Its tapered shape gives it a stable feel on the worktop, while the natural grain means every set has its own pattern and character.
Use it for whole garlic cloves, cumin, coriander, pepper, chilli and mixed spices, or to blend fresh herb pastes, pesto, harissa and chermoula. Choose from three sizes: 12 cm for everyday garlic and spice preparation, 14 cm as an all-rounder, or 16 cm for larger batches and full paste recipes.
