What's the difference between face wash and face cleanser?

A face cleanser is made to cleanse, purify, hydrate, and soothe your skin. The texture will be more creamy. A face wash is made to clean your pores more deeply. The texture will often lather into a foam when applied to damp skin.

Which type is best for me?

If you have drier and more sensitive skin, a face cleanser will better keep your skin barrier moisturized and healthy. It will strip less of your natural oils and help avoid irritation.

If you have more oily or acne-prone skin, you may benefit more from using a foaming face wash. It will provide a deeper clean for your pores and remove the oil, dirt, and impurities that can exacerbate sebum production (which is what makes your face oily). We recommend to not overuse face washes as they can dry your skin out.

You should select which will work best with your skin type and don’t be afraid to combine the two to achieve optimal results in your grooming routine. Cleansers and face washes will also come in different variations to suit your skin type.

Directions: 

Wet face. Apply a generous amount of face wash to the palms and lather into face and neck. Rinse after.
