Chicken is the highest-protein option in the training treat range at 45.9% crude protein per 100g — which makes it a practical choice for working dogs, dogs in active training, or dogs that need a leaner treat alongside a higher-fat main diet.
A single ingredient means a short story on the label. If your dog has had reactions to multi-ingredient treats and you are working out what the trigger is, single-protein treats are a useful part of that process — though we would always recommend discussing elimination approaches with your vet.
