Why We Love This Product
Make six woolly animal Christmas baubles by learning the basics of needle felting. Designed for beginners, this Hawthorn Handmade kit uses 100% wool and takes an average beginner around 6–8 hours to complete.
- Make 3 large baubles, each 6cm in diameter, and 3 small baubles, each 3cm in diameter.
- Includes British and Corriedale wool in a variety of colours, 2 felting needles in a secure case, silver ribbon, step-by-step photo instructions and a gift box.
- Choose No Foam or With Foam. The With Foam option includes a 7-inch foam block working surface; you’ll need a foam working surface to make the kit.
The instructions introduce splitting and shaping wool, using a felting needle, making shapes and adding details. The finished decorations can be brought out year after year.
The kit contains sharp needles and is suitable only for ages 14+ or with adult supervision. It comes in a fully recyclable cardboard box with no plastic. The No Foam box measures 21 × 15 × 5cm; the With Foam box measures 30 × 21 × 5cm.
A foam working surface is needed for needle felting. The With Foam option includes one; the No Foam option requires one separately.
