Meet the maker

TG Jewellery is the one-woman Cornwall studio of Italian-born designer Tamara Gervasio. Her sculptural rings, necklaces, earrings and bracelets begin as wax forms carved by hand, giving each design its tactile lines, organic textures and distinctive detail before it is translated into precious metal.

Tamara grew up in Rome and studied jewellery design before establishing her practice in Italy. After a break from the industry, she relaunched TG Jewellery from Cornwall in 2022. Her current work combines that Italian design background with forms influenced by nature, ancient objects, geometry and the coast.

Rather than using CAD or 3D printing for the original form, Tamara sculpts each design in wax. The wax model is then cast in metal before the piece is finished, polished and, where applicable, hallmarked. Her practice was independently recognised by LUXlife in 2024, but the most useful distinction for customers is the hand-carved process visible in the texture and shape of the jewellery.

Why Found in Britain selected TG Jewellery by Tamara Gervasio

Found in Britain selected TG Jewellery for its clear authorship and unusually tactile design language. Tamara's hand-carved process produces bold organic, geometric and sometimes gothic forms that feel distinct from mass-produced jewellery. The marketplace collection also gives customers meaningful choice: from understated studs and pendants to statement rings, gemstone pieces and one-of-a-kind designs, with materials, sizes and finishes clearly tied to each individual product.

What we know

Provenance
Tamara designs and hand-carves the original wax forms in her Cornwall studio. The precise casting, finishing and hallmarking route is not independently verified for every marketplace product, so the individual product page remains the definitive source for that piece.
Production
Small-scale, limited-run, made-to-order and one-of-a-kind jewellery; the exact status varies by design.
Materials
The current Found in Britain range centres on sterling silver. Selected designs also use gold, platinum, bronze or brass, gemstones, enamel, oxidised finishes or plating. Materials are product-specific.
Practical information
Ring size, metal, gemstone and finish options vary by design. Use the option selector and description on the individual Found in Britain product page for the choices currently available.

Questions about TG Jewellery by Tamara Gervasio

Who makes TG Jewellery?
TG Jewellery is created by Tamara Gervasio, an Italian-born jewellery designer working from her one-woman studio in Truro, Cornwall. She studied jewellery design in Rome and relaunched the brand from Cornwall in 2022.
How is TG Jewellery made?
Tamara carves the original form of each design by hand in wax rather than using CAD or 3D printing. The wax model is then translated into metal through a casting process before the jewellery is finished and polished. Hallmarking applies where required. The exact production route for a particular piece is described on its Found in Britain product page.
What TG Jewellery can I buy on Found in Britain?
The current collection includes rings, necklaces, stud and drop earrings, other earring styles and a small number of bracelets. Designs range from organic and geometric forms to sea-inspired, gothic, gemstone and one-of-a-kind pieces. Availability changes with the marketplace catalogue.
What materials are available?
Sterling silver is the main material across the current Found in Britain collection. Selected products also use gold, platinum, bronze or brass, gemstones, enamel, oxidised finishes or plating. Check the individual product page because those choices are not available on every design.
How do I choose a TG Jewellery ring size?
Available sizes differ by ring. Measure when your hands are warm and relaxed, and remember that a wider band can feel tighter than a slim ring. Select only a size shown on the Found in Britain product page; if you are between sizes, take particular care with wider statement designs.
Are TG Jewellery pieces one of a kind or made to order?
The collection contains a mix of one-of-a-kind, made-to-order, limited-run and currently available pieces. The individual Found in Britain product page states the current status and options for that design.
Is all TG Jewellery made in Cornwall?
Tamara's current studio and hand-carved wax-design work are based in Cornwall. Found in Britain has not independently confirmed that every casting, finishing or hallmarking step for every product takes place there, so the profile does not make that broader claim.
